It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose. Best of all, OpenOffice.org 3 can be downloaded and used entirely free of any licence fees. OpenOffice.org 3 is released under the LGPL licence. This means you may use it for any purpose - domestic, commercial, educational, public administration. You may install it on as many computers as you like. You may make copies and give them away to family, friends, students, employees - anyone you like. 

Always be aware that free software sometimes has a gimmick. Software manfacturers give free versions to tempt you to purchase the complete product. On behalf of the software manufacturers this is an excellent way to advertise and market the consumer. They hope that you will purchase a complete version of their product. The senior center is not responsible for your actions on your computer and the downloads that I suggest nor am I.

The tips that I give you will be tried and true (I'll test the software first). I will furnish the links to you on this page. Try the software out, if the product is not what you expected go to and click on start,  find and click on control panel. Once in your control panel click on add or remove icon find the product and click on remove.

 What is ESP ?

ESP ( Elderley Services Program ) helps older adults remain safe and independent in their own homes. Services are available to people 65 years of age and older. Home delivered meals are available for people 60 years of age or older.

Who Pays for this program? Funding is provided by the Butler County Senior Services tax levy.

Where to start ?

Call 513 - 868 -9281 ( 1 - 800 - 215 - 5305 ) to speak with a nurse or a social worker who can explain services and assess your needs.

What happens after that ?

A case manager will arrange an in-home visit to set up your services.
