“You Can’t Win Without a Ticket!”
In the last newsletter members received four tickets for the Center’s $40,000 Split The Pot raffle. We ask that you buy them or sell them to family, friends, and anyone else. Return the stubs with checks or cash to our address, with Attention: Raffle on the envelope, or drop them off at the Reception Desk. Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50. First Prize will be $10,000; Second and Third prizes will be $5,000 each. Total prize money of $20,000 will be given away. People can purchase tickets individually or they can pair up with others to buy tickets. This raffle is critical to helping restore the financial health of our Center. Prior to this, we have made many efforts to achieve a healthy bottom line including a $75,000 reduction in salaries and personnel expenses from 2008 to present. We need your help to do more as we continue to reduce the debt on our beautiful facility.
In 2009, membership dues of $58,018 covered 2.4% of our operating expenses. If these raffles are successful, we may avoid increasing dues or curtailing operating hours in the future.
